The ones that move fast, on your phone
Some things cannot wait for Sunday. When a launch price list lands, a rate decision comes out or a rule changes, it goes straight to your phone with the number and the source attached.
- New off-plan launches — the day the price list is released, with the developer, the area and the price per square metre.
- Asking-price cuts — where the reduction is large enough to matter, with the original asking price and the date it changed.
- Bank of Israel rate decisions — within the hour, and what the move does to a mortgage offer already in play.
- Rule changes that alter what you pay — purchase tax bands, loan-to-value caps, rent law, Sale Law securities.
- A street that moves sharply — when the recorded prices on one street shift far enough from the area around it to be worth a second look.
- Index publication — when a quarter firms up, or a provisional reading is restated, so you are not quoting a number that has since moved.
- Deadlines — the ones with a date attached: a tax window closing, a scheme opening, a filing period ending.
- Listings. This index holds none and sells nothing.
- Anything a developer, agent or broker has paid to put in front of you. Nobody can.
- An asking price described as a sold price.
- Your number, to anyone.

New launch — Netanya, Ir Yamim. Price list out this morning. 4 rooms from ₪3.1m, sea side of the road. That is an asking price, not a recorded one.
Rate held at 3.50%. No change to a fixed offer already issued. If yours is variable or prime-linked, the payment does not move either.
Q2 firmed up. The provisional Tel Aviv reading has been restated on the full quarter's transactions. If you quoted the old figure last month, it has moved.
